Scott is the founder of Elite Tax, a trusted partner for small business owners, real estate professionals, and self-employed individuals across the nation. With years of experience as an Enrolled Agent, Scott specializes in tax preparation, bookkeeping, payroll, and business consulting services. His goal is to simplify complex financial processes, help clients maximize their savings, and empower them to focus on what they do best—running their businesses.
Under Scott's leadership, Elite Tax is known for providing exceptional customer service, timely communication, and proactive tax strategies. Scott takes pride in fostering a relaxed, approachable company culture where every client feels valued and supported.
When he’s not helping clients achieve financial success, Scott is enjoying time spent with his wife and 4 kids.
Elizabeth Gutknecht CPA
Senior Tax Accountant
Elizabeth brings over 18 years of expertise in tax preparation, financial statement preparation, and bookkeeping. As a licensed CPA, she has worked with a wide range of clients, including individuals, small businesses, nonprofits, and trusts. Elizabeth specializes in preparing complex tax returns, conducting tax planning, and managing financial audits, reviews, and compilations.
She is proficient in tools like QuickBooks and has extensive experience in setting up businesses, payroll systems, and nonprofits, including 501(c)(3) applications. Elizabeth is known for her meticulous attention to detail, deep knowledge of tax codes and GAAP standards, and her dedication to helping clients navigate financial complexities with confidence. When she’s not assisting clients, Elizabeth enjoys mentoring young professionals and friends, and hiking in southern UT.

Payroll/Office Manager
Andrea brings a genuinely caring and quality-driven service approach. With a strong background in the customer service industry and in management roles, her top priority is ensuring every detail is handled with care. Known for her attention to detail and communication skills, Andrea takes pride in serving as a point of contact for clients and strives to deliver reliable, exceptional service while ensuring all administrative needs are handled efficiently and accurately. Sam Mikesell
Business Development Manager
Sam brings a people-centered and results-oriented approach to Elite Tax & Accounting. Throughout her career, she has partnered with small and growing businesses to identify challenges and deliver solutions that drive meaningful outcomes.
Prior to joining Elite, Sam held sales and client development roles in SaaS and consulting. These experiences reinforced her belief that exceptional client relationships are built on clear communication and a genuine understanding of each client's unique needs.
Sam is passionate about helping clients feel confident and well-informed about their taxes and year-round tax planning. She prioritizes building trust and connecting clients with the expertise that helps them keep more of what they earn.
